Many parts of the estate are dedicated to food production, and alongside our arable farming we also produce a range of home-grown products such as lamb, venison, pheasant and partridge.
Born out of a strong passion for sustainability and reduction in our carbon footprint, the estate wanted to deliver on an ‘Estate-to-Plate’ philosophy. Previously part of Ragley Home Farm, our dedicated butchery retail business was set up in 2006 to bring this range of high-quality meats to our local community. This philosophy has since been extended to a switch to recycled packaging for the majority of our counter products.
In order to ensure our butcher’s counter could offer a full range of ingredients, we have also partnered with selected local or niche suppliers, offering a broad selection of high-quality meats and meat products, sauces, marinades and charcoal.
Our Butchers have a dedicated retail outlet based at Hillers Farm Shop in Dunnington, which sits within the Ragley Estate.
